Children 6 -14 years and over will be after July 2014.
Children aged over 14 years will be eligible after July 2015.
How do I know if my child is eligible to access this funding?
To determine if your child is eligible for support through this program
you can complete the "My
Access Checker" on the National Disability Insurance Scheme
website.
How does it work?
Each eligible child in the scheme will have an individualised plan which
sets out their goals and aspirations, the disability supports (services
and products) that will be funded by the NDIS, and other supports the
person requires.
Providers such as Write Intervention are engaged by participating families to deliver supports in accordance with that family’s plan.
For advice on the type and frequency of Occupational Therapy input required for an individualised plan, please contact our office on (08) 8273 7801 or info@writeintervention.com.au
